And the Band Played On

A two and half hour docudrama set out in the 1980's and followed the virus that causes AISD. The movie is my anthem for AIDS. From the tracking the flight attendant from coast to coast, not finding out the answers quick enough and then their was the
political bureaucracy that was and the personal ego also involved in this move...What went through your head? Share about it?

This truly is a great movie. I also recommend "The Adventures of Felix," a French movie with a gay Arabic HIV+ young man taking a road trip to find his estranged father. AIDS is a fact of life in this film, not an overwhelming burden, but not glamorized. Here's the trailer.
